Conference Secretary:

Corine Heuzer is our conference secretary. She will be available at the registration desk Sunday from 14:00 until 18:00h, and every morning just before the lectures and at the morning coffee break. Additionally, you can always reach her via email or leave a message for her at the info-board at the registration desk. 



Dinners will take place in the hotels with the exception of Wednesday (see social program)


Wifi connection

Wireless connection is available in the entire hotel and will be provided up on check-in at the hotel. 


Social Program

  • Sunday April 8: Welcome drinks at 21:30 after the opening lectures at the bar and orangery of the hotel
  • Wednesday April 11:
    • Excursions – for those who signed up for the excursions, be ready at 13:45h. More information will follow
    • Dinner at the Beach: Wednesdays BBQ-dinner will be held at “Paal 17” a restaurant on the beach starting at 17:00h. Everybody who is joining the excursions will finish their excursion at “Paal 17”. Participant who are not joining the excusion can either register for the bus which will bring you to Paal 17 or join me in a beach hike of about 2-2.5 km (30 min). At 19.30-19:45 we will walk (or you can take the bus) back to the hotel for the Wednesday poster session.
  • Thursday April 12: Closing reception & conference dinner 


Free time: 

Free time for discussions or leisure activities is scheduled every day after lunch until 16:00h. Many activities can be done on Texel. Bikes can be rented in the village De Koog, the beach and dunes are next door, and for example Ecomare ( is only 2.5 km away. For tips, feel free to ask Corine!
